Montanov L
DESCRIPTION: Montanov L is a liquid crystal, nonionic emulsifier. Which means it has a strong affinity to the skin’s lipid bilayer of the cellular membrane, which in turn increases active penetration. It impacts a light feeling on the skin, moisturizes the skin and reduces TEWL (Trans Epidermal Water Loss). It helps stabilize emulsion, an can be used in all sorts of applications and textures – from emulsion sprays to emulsion butters.
Montanov L makes ultra-white emulsions with a very soft texture and good shear thinning profile. Emulsion made with Montanov L are more moisturizing than regula emulsifiers because of its liquid crystal chemical composition.
