Gamma-aminobutyric acid or GABA is an amino acid synthesized in 1883. This glutamate derived amino acid compound gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) is a powerful anti oxidant, that helps rejuvenate  and skin skin cells and reduces the signs of aging. It's known as the Botox powder due to its muscle relaxing properties.
GABA helps firm sagging, wrinkled, aging skin by helping to tighten and firm up skin and muscle tissues. 
GABA has been projected as a wrinkle relaxer based on the studies that show it can inhibit neuronal activity and thereby relax muscles, limiting the “expression lines” resul from muscle hyper-contraction such as in the peri-oral region.  that Other studies mentioned GABA’s benefits to include dilation of skin peripheral blood vessels, moisturizing and age-preventing,suppressing parakeratosis, pore shrinking, and skin whitening effects.

It has shown to reduce inflammation associated with psoriasis.
