DESCRIPTION: Bovine collagen is a hydrolyzed collagen extract from Bovine hides. Bovine collagen is especially rich in type I and III collagen, which is particularly good for the skin and nails. It also contains 18 amino acids. Bovine collagen is an especially good source of collagen because it is predominated by glycine, proline and hydroxyproline, which represent around 50% of the total amino acid content. This high content is absent in other collagen sources. It exhibits moisturizing, protective, and film-forming properties
