Gluconolactone

DESCRIPTION: Gluconolactone is a antioxidant Poly-Hydroxy Acid (PHA) produced by removing one molecule of water from gluconic acid. It is a mild, exfoliating acid that is effective without irritating the skin. It penetrates the cells slowly because of it’s large size, so it is said to be a better skin-hydrator than AHA.
Gluconolactone is suitable for sensitive skin. It has anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It improves skin luster and evenly tones the skin. It doesn’t peel or bur the skin.
